Iron fist

Adversity is like a strong wind. It tears away from us all but the things that cannot be torn, so that we see ourselves as we really are.
When it comes to adversity, never give up for what you stand for, stay strong, persevere and view adversity as nothing more than a stimulus for your aspirations and future success. You could be directly under fire from someone else and must stand up for what you believe, or you might be passively affected by adverse groups such as The "Occupy Toronto" Protest that is going on here and allover the  world.
The point is that you should never back down, never give up, and always fight back and persevere. It's important to have an opinion and stand behind it, no matter how stupid, how disregarded you might be, how insignificant you might be considered, and no matter what the fuck stands in your way. Being a dossile complacent floormat is bullshit, in all honesty someone who is passionate about fighting for abortion/for hitler/for nuking baby seals is far more interesting and worthwhile than someone who says that they couldn't care about the issue.

People should get out to St James park, and pitch a tent even if they don't know why they're doing it. People should gather and unite, to have a communal voice since most of the population will continue to sit on their ass and become zombies. Occupy toronto is great, its an outlet for the 99% of people who feel unheard and useless. The reason is that being part of something that could have an effect can change your life, maybe they will be heard, but most likely not, but the fight, the FIGHT is what will be remembered.

Sometimes you may not even know why your'e fighting or what your goal is, but it's important to stay strong, because what you may not realize beforehand will become clear after the dust has cleared.

Todays thought.
